Branches

Around here lately, the branches have been nothing short of spectacular.
Yesterday morning I awoke to the most spectacular display of hoar frost ever. In the history of all things winter.
A gal could almost begin to like this challenging season. Almost.
But really, I like the spring. And the beauty that it brings.

I'm afraid this branch can't really hold a candle to those frosty ones. But it does have a beauty all its own.

You all may remember the other bag almost exactly like this one. The moment I sold it I started straight into the next one.

Two pockets beneath the flap.

Three pockets on the one side of the interior.

plus two on this side; thanks to repurposing Sam's pants. (point of interest to you, Rose. These are hand me down from Liam)

Ever wished you were one of the lucky ones who could really pull of the whole "Sears Premiere" necktie look?
Give it a tree on your shoulder. A guaranteed Looker.

9.5" wide and 10.5 " deep.
$25- to start.
Ends tonight at 9:30 pm cst, March 8, 2010.
(gotta go. I've been suddenly bombarded by kidlets)

Hey there...
I went to a wedding this weekend and saw one of your beautiful bags around one of my friends shoulders and just had to inquire. I told my husband right away your web-address so I wouldn't forget it and as soon as I got home I looked into it. I absolutely would love to support the work that you are doing and know that you are a blessing from GOD to all those people!
It just so happens that I am IN- LOVE with branches and trees and love the look of this bag! Thank you again for all the work that you do and may GOD bless you richly!!

Bethany! I'm glad you found the site...
Joi... the bag she saw was yours :)... hanging over my shoulder. Ah... beautiful, beautiful bag, Joyce!

okay, so let me get this straight. Bethany, friend of Jenni, saw essentially THIS VERY BAG at a wedding? And then upon finding the website discovers that the almost exact bag is on the auction block? How weird is that?!

You're certainly welcome here. Jenni- you have some sort of magical advertising powers. Honestly.

Yes this is all true!! I just love this bag and to be honest when I went onto the site and found out that you only make one bag and not multiples of this exact bag I was a little disappointing but hopeful that one day you would replicate it...and when I went on today...there it was, that beautiful bag!!! Too cool...must be meant to be (I hope)?!?

It's a good thing for Bethany that this bag is too small for a diaper bag for me because I LOVE it! I have been watching for quite a while for the perfect bag for me and if this was bigger, I would be forced to outbid you.
I hope you get it.

Uh oh Corrine, I'm waiting for a diaper bag too! Looks like there may be a battle ensuing for those BIG bags!

Hey now, folks. Don't get too excited about diaper bags... I'm still waiting for a small bag (I already possess a beautiful laptop-sized bag), and I don't have the heart to bid up Bethany... seeing as I only just gave her the website on Saturday.

$60! Sorry, Bethany... just got a text from a Jane Doe who wants to bid but has no internet access.
After bidding up my sister (and suffering the consequences), I have a "I don't bid up for the sake of bidding up" policy, but this doesn't fall under that self-imposed legislation.

Actually, I am not wanting one of the really big bags. I want one that is the size up from this one not the biggest messenger bag style. I won one of those last year and I wanted to give it to someone this month but not if I don't win another one that would work better for me first. I adore this bag and the colors and I love trees and leaves. The whole simplicity of it appeals to me. Just not the size.
I am having a hard time not entering in a bid before I press enter! I just love this bag and surely it could work in another way for me but I know someone else really wants it too. So I promise I won't!

Could you post tomorrows bag tonight? I can't wait to see if I will love it more than this one!

wow, been out tonight, and home later than I meant... looks like I need to make myself notes about what people might want to see more of around here. Meanwhile, looks like Jenni-- that wonder advertiser-- has put in a bid for Jane Doe of $60- and is our grand prize purchaser.

And, I think that Jenni used her sister's bag to go to a wedding? I really think you've got some powerful personal charisma, Jenni! That magical gift of advertising!

Yes, Jenni wore MY bag to a wedding (with my hesitant permission), and I haven't even seen it yet!!! Can't wait for Friday :)

Jane's email is JaynEryn@hotmail.com - she can check it on her iPhone, and can arrange payment with you.
Happy monday! Thanks for a beautiful bag, Joyce... that's one that I would have loved to take home myself!
