Feeling Groovey

Slow down, you move too fast.... Got to make the good times last....
Her innards are so pretty, you'll wish it was backwards/inside-out day every day.
And they say modern women have abandoned the kitchen apron..... Pffffffft. Chenille:
From the French word for 'caterpillar,' a fancy special-effect yarn of soft, hairy texture. In the past it was made from silk, but it is now usually made from cotton.
This bedspread was unceremoniously ripped down the middle, then dyed deep blue and fuschia/red. It goes perfectly with the strap, which is a gorgeous fabric from Trinidad. Almost as if it was planned.....

Feeling groovey?

Leave your mark in the comments. At 6 pm cst, I'll be back to see who put down the highest number. Remember that this is not about the bags so much as it is about feeding and sheltering. The bags just add joy to the mix.

Linda- I don't think I get it... Did bags for zaza make a bag with a button like the blue one? It's a grand button, it is.

The most important thing is the people of Darfur...helping them with our monetary contributions as we are so fortunate...God bless them.

I don't have a competitive bone in my body (nor a Darfur bag - but that is another conversation for another day) and I could not agree with you more Carla. As my four year old just said, "won't there be more bags?" Sadly, and unfortunately the need will continue. I am quite fine with you receiving this wonderful gift Carla. There will be more bags, and of course, more bidding....

Bev you have such akind heart and it sounds like you daughter does too..I too am not competitive, just not nearly as creative as Joyce...so this is the only outlet I feel comfortable contributing to. I saw your post and you did bid$1 higher 1 min before close ..and you are right there will always be more bags to help the cause..let's both wait for joyce's decision.

Enjoy this beautiful day...

Bidding end time was 6:oo p.m. Bids up to & including 6:oo are counted as fair. Think that is how it has been done. Hope you have your 1st bag Bev!

Bev, you've got yourself a bag! I was out, sorry for the delay in reply; I am typically near a computer at 6:00 but today did not go that way... In a perfect world I would have been able to leave notice saying that I would be away from the computer at that time.
