And we're back.
Clover is made up of a whole bunch of bits of vintage. Her side pockets (there are two) come from a beautifully embroidered bib apron. My kids have (had) worn it from time to time while trying their hand in the kitchen. Her flap has an array of splashy bits that I found at a thrift shop, tucked into a ziploc bag, and labelled: "quilt blocks". Bordering the top of them is a dyed chenille, and running along the bottom is a nice, heavy, swirly orange and yellow bit.
It's a virtual bag borscht.
It's Monday morning, and not even halfway through July yet. Lots of summer lovin' left to go. Anybody want to adopt Clover Blossoms, and carry her through the rest of your summer? Please leave your name and number, and I'll get back to you just as soon as possible. Well, at 6:00 pm, cst, at any rate.
Have a swirly day.
