Have you begun to notice Muriel and all her birdie groupies heading back south? Seems a little premature to me. I don't remember voting on whether it was time for them to return from whence they came.
We oughta trick them. Carry this bag around; and they'll get good and confused and hang around for a good long while yet. Maybe even bring some extra long days of sunshine and heat with them.
"The Cardinal" is made up of a tea towel from Steinbach thrift; a repurposed, unfinished plaid quilting project; some gorgeous red cord from my pal Patti; shoulder strap by: Loretta's blue skirt; tip of shoulder strap by Patti. The inside is Mr Sample Guy; and I think the lady down the street. (Ruth's mom).

Amazing how my brain can remember where nearly every scrap of fabric came from; yet annually forget the birthdays of everyone I love. There's a bunch of other stuff that I always forget; but I can't think of them right now....
