Yours Til Day Breaks

Days are growing longer and darker. Basement is feeling smaller and smaller.
Never much like the transition of seasons.... Don't like change all that much.

But if you are here about the bag, and not my belly aches.... Here's another tie buster for you. It was fun to pull "Men's suit-y" colours out of my stacks to create this fancy pance Wall street type bag. Well, if they use recycled, slightly pilled neckties on Wall street... Never been there me self.

Greys, golds, browns, blues, greens, and various shades of the same all over this bag. Her body is made up of Mr Sample Guy fabrics, so the quality is high. The inside came from Ceramic toting lady, and Morris, and Loretta of course, and even a pocket or two from my very own shorts. This summer I retired 95% of the shorts that come well above the knee. But they've got some useful pockets on them...

I really don't think that the photos came out perfectly well. Not bad; but not perfect. The colours are richer than this.

These photos are better for colour.
I love those neckties, and what a fun way to use them without figuring out how to look good in a suit.
Bids til 8 pm, cst.

Hi Joyce,
As a professional by day and a grassroots earth dweller by night, this bag really spoke to me. I'm the proud owner of the Yetti bag from last month but I feel I need another. Maybe I'll start my holiday shopping with this one... I could gift it...we'll see.
I bid $68.

Joyce, your work continues to amaze me. I don't know if people realize what a gift you have at pulling together this and that and making it so incredibly funky. Eclectic is NOT easy. You're uncanny, unmatchable, unprecedented and undefeated! I love the quirky book of poems you've been featuring. Have a lovely day.

$71. And I've already returned the $45 vinyl made in China bag -- please don't outbid me and force me to go back to using a Sobey's bag :) !

yes, yes, YOU DID!!
(sorry, I was off stuffing the van full of pasta and ice cream again... So you had to put up with a delay.)

Thanks so much, all. And J, you can contact me via e-mail to let me know if you want the bag sent in the mail or if you are in the area.
