Okay people, I think I get it. You're really into the Africa scene these days.
So... Seeing as it is Black History Month, I think we ought to celebrate it in the only way we can. Like maybe attempting "Africa Month"!?
Give me a moment and I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, go outside. I think the temperature has risen from "dead in .4 of a second" to "if you live here, you'll think its freaking Caribbean". (we've suffered through -50 windchills this winter. Today it's -16 with no wind. It's gorgeous)
With a bit of luck, I'll get some African Action going on here ASAP.

It is absolutely beautiful outside today - you are right! And yes, it does feel like the Caribbean!!!!! The thought of Africa month makes me very very happy!!!!! MK
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
it's amazing how genuinely good -16 can feel. i try to tell people out here that it's lovely but i can tell they don't believe me. i feel like such a wimp for missing such a terrible winter, but i don't feel sorry. a wee bit guilty, but i'm getting over that.
Great idea!! I get the feeling I'll be spending some money this month!
Hurray! Joyce caught on the Africa obsession. My fingers are practically dancing on the keys! Joyce, I hope you take at least a few minutes out of your day to enjoy the balmy weather, and I promise I won't mention what the temperature is in Alberta.
Yes, please - more Africa-themed bags! Woo hoo!
It is so cold here (in Southwestern Ontario, of all places) that our dog's doggy daycare is closed ... for the second day in a row. Poor guy is not impressed.
