Greetings great Darfur supporters, bag lovers, and work avoiders.
After a great deal of thought and some trepidation (what will I do with myself?!) I have decided to take a one week sabbatical from the blog world. A week without being driven to my computer. A week for the possibility of refreshing perspectives and direction. Just a week.
It's a difficult thing to let go of, even for a week, but it feels right.
So, I'll be back with bags on, March 1, 2009.

You deserve it Joyce...be blessed:)
Have a great rest Joyce!
enjoy your week!!
Good to see that you are taking a breather Joyce, although you know we will all miss both the bags & the comments. I see that last week, while Helima & I were to Georgia & back (for a cousin's 110th B'day), some of your other bags have reported on their travels as well. Blessings, Grandma M

Hey Joyce, I read Tears of the Desert in two days. It reads like a fiction novel except that it's horrifically true. Thanks so much for letting me know about the book and if you have any other Darfur reads, feel free to pass them along.
Take care.
Kelli
enjoy your break; we will wait for you
Wish your fans could afford to send you on a goodwill tour to Africa, maybe Oprah..
have thought about re-reading tears of the desert, actually.
