Autumn (Auction Ends Wednesday, September 16 at 9:30 pm)

It is just possible to go directly from winter into fall. Well, at least to have very little spring; very little summer; and then find yourself back at Autumn once again. Ah well- better just embrace
it.

The bags for Darfur auction resumes with this brown, gold, and orange medium sized (about 10 x 11 inches) messenger bag; complete with a few of my precious button embellishments. There are bits of tablecloth in there, along with some remnants of a furniture reupholstery project.

The inside employs a scrap that I've sort of been hoarding because I really liked it- that funky bit with all the food words on it. Two small pockets rest beneath it.

On the opposite side are two more pockets made from a retired Ikea pillow slip. (thanks, BB)

Underneath the flap are two more pockets - I like to use these two for the phone and the keys. Mysteriously, I still manage to lose the keys almost daily and never remember to charge the cell. I was never meant to be born in this era.

It has been a while since we spent much time at this blogspot, so I won't rush into anything.
"Autumn" will remain on the auction block until Wednesday, September 16 at 9:30 pm, cst. We'll start the bidding at a low $30- Cdn. Please leave your bids in the comment box. If you are not a blogger, you can leave a comment under "anonymous". Comments without bids are just as welcomed, so don't feel that you have to participate only in a bidding format. The encouragement in comment form is also very empowering.
All profit goes to the United Nations World Food Program and is designated for camps in Darfur, Sudan.
(It's good to be back!)

Fabulous! I can't bid on this one, but I wanted to say two things: 1. I'm glad you're back. 2. The fabric with all the food names? LOVE!

This went beyond what I had imagined. (for which I am deeply, humbly grateful!) It's kind of hard for me not to just upload another bag... but I said I'd leave it until Wednesday, so that's what I'll do.

THANKS!!
