(I appear to be on empty. After "fighting" with my daughter's tour group, arranging euros and bank accounts and debit cards, shopping and shopping for this and that,....., coping with my mama heart....
hunting for paperwork since my '08 taxes have just been reassessed and the government wants a bunch of my money....
working and vacuuming and vacuuming (when you have roughly twenty-five bodies in and out of your house every day in spring.... that's a lot of dust and dead grass....)...
And sewing.
I'm tired.
I know I'm winge-ing.
Hopefully after a pot of coffee, I'll find my moxie and be back with some pep.
For now- Some beautiful pictures.
Later, babes.

Very pretty!!! Hope you find some peace regarding your daughter's travel plans. My boys are only 17 months and 3.5 years, but I dread the day I have to let go.
Plus, can I just add that I WISH I had just a quarter of your talent when stressed and exhausted? I can not believe how talented you are at making these bags. So gorgeous!
I'd say that the first part of letting go is when you first notice that the kids have worlds of their own. eg- you're at the grocery store and someone YOU don't know says "Hi! so-and-so!" And you realize that they know your kid from sunday school, or pre-school, or from a play date somewhere. That's a surreal feeling.
I tried to explain to my daughter that when a woman has a child, she cuts off a piece of her own heart and puts legs on it. Just the thought of those parts getting hurt break the mama into pieces. If anything happens to her, I'll.... well I don't know. And that's the pain.
I love kids the ages of yours. I guess that's part of the reason they are always in my house. So curious, learning so much, so fast.
Thank you for those kind words. In some ways, pressure produces good work. I really appreciate your words, esp on days like these.
xo
Hey you know what is so cool about this and many other of your creations Joyce is that they look cool and collected and put together on the outside and on the inside the party is happenin'
I love the colors of this bag!!! $25

Try to put aside a few a things that aren't 100% necessary, you're so busy you can't enjoy getting your daughter ready.
Another pretty one Joyce!
You're right, Heidi! SOOO pretty! And it totally matches mine! Hope you get it!

Joi...it would be kind of strange though to have Jenni be the only one of us without one...seeing as how she's the one who started it all:) Jenni, you need to get a bag too so we can take a picture of them together:)
I thought I had seen you with one, but then when you were so badly wanting Joi's I got mixed up:)
Well well, sisters! Now my entire family has invaded my secret happy spot (not quite... where's Katrina?) My bag (yes! I do have one!) is sitting comfortably beside me, enjoying the bliss of being my one and only, every day but not "everyday", unique and one of a kind bag. Enjoy your tree branch bags, ladies. And some day, I will get one too.
Nice bag. Nice words. Nice kids. Nice thoughts. Nice life. Nice. I miss you. Am praying for you and your dear (nice) girlies. Your nice Schwester
hey, sisters all. I liked your velveteen rabbit comment, Jenni.
Like the inside-the-bag party comment. True. Just never really thought of it that way!
Lori- you make a good point. Can't really think of anything I'm doing thats nonessential though. I already don't really watch tv... or exercise like I wish I would....I nap when I'm tired, and I go to bed on time.
I think I need to get out. Laugh with a grown-up. That help my moxie come back out to play.
Are there four sisters? We have five in our clan. Yep, five.
speaking of sisters- Hello Mary! Yes, missing you also.
Yup, there are 4 of us girls, and one lucky brother!

In any case, LMS, you were close. Most days that would have totally done it.

I'm so sad. I guess the time zone converter got me confused...I only just got home & thought I had another 45 min. Oh well. I'll keep watching:)
ok, now LMS's comments showed up. Weird, I didn't see them here last night at all. (You people?!)
Well, I'm glad I'm not going entirely crazy.
Heidi- sorry about that, what a yukker. Monday might be good to you; we'll see.
So is the next bag on Monday? My parents are now sending me shopping for them! LOL
