May Flowers

Who doesn't need a flowery tote bag to haul their spring-type stuff around?

This marvellous floral piece came with the motherload that I photographed over on blunderview a week or two ago. Just a big ol' box of inspiration.

Can you get over that colour combo? Love, love love it. Green, teale, yellow, and purple. Wowza.

That's the inside of the bag- easiest to show you the pockets by turning it right inside out.
Now that I see it that way, I really should have marketed it as "reversible". Marketing. Hmmmmph.

That is one awesomely awesome button in the center of that flower. I always hoped that I would find a place for it, and here it is.
In other news, I changed the settings so that it is easier to leave comments. "Anonymous" will be accepted once again. Sorry for the delay, I hadn't anticipated all these details.
Bids on the tote will begin at $25.00 Cdn.
The auction will close at 7:00 am Friday, May 8, 2009.

What a beauty of a bag - so springy on this not so springy day in my part of the world! Hey Joyce! Is my trump card still good or did it expire? If it's still good, I'll use it today! Lemme know! Pam B :)

If you like; you can consider this bag sold for $45 if that's what you want to do! Just comment back so that I can end the auction, and explain the process to any newbies.

I don't like the 'process'.... but I love this bag!!! Trump card hey??? How do I get myself one of those? Maybe you can explain that!!!
I thought I had lost you there Joyce cause somehow I missed the post that linked to your new site address.... phewwwww am I relieved!! Almost thought you went into retirement there.

I guess I'm glad to be back.... your latest work is absolutely lovely!

WEll, here's how it went. Last year, I agreed to do some volunteer stuff for SaveDarfurCanada. They sent me 50 postcards to have signed, and then sent to the Canadian government to pressure them to get involved int he Darfur situation. Being overcommitted, and bound to my house, I found that I could/did not get the cards signed. So, I posed a "trump" oppurtunity for two volunteers who would get 25 cards signed each. Pam here is one of the people who got the cards signed, and returned to me, so that I could send them off and fulfill my promise to Save Darfur Canada. The deal was that if she followed through on her end to get these cards signed and returned; then she would hold a "trump card" which means that she can interupt an auction and call it a day.

read all about it right here:
http://bags4darfur.blogspot.com/2008/11/want-trump-card.html

The other trump holder has already used her card, and Pam has the second "card" in her possession.

glad to see you back, gopher. Geez, I'm worried about who has gotten lost in the mayhem.

SOLD to Pam B for $45- Thanks so much.
And that's the end of the trump card business for those of you who are getting all frumpy over the trumpy!

I'd like to thank Pam for doing the trump today. I was SO tempted to risk my marriage and bid on yet another bag.

I'm sad this one is sold already. I was hoping to grab one of these great totes for my mom for mother's day. Any chance your posting another one before Sunday Joyce? :)
