Lighten Up!

As summer approaches, I always have a hankering for a small, wallet sized bag. Something that celebrates the shedding of the winter apparel.

Something that ushers in that All Entirely Awesome season of yard sale-ing.

Something to throw over my shoulder, but barely feel there.

Most of the time, my lifestyle offers me the freedom to need nothing more than a wallet, keys, phone, and maybe lipstick.

This 6 x 7.5" bag4darfur is constructed from upholstery samples, quilting fat quarters, unable ached cotton, and bits of a rescued pillow sham.

An offer of $20.00 Cdn will start us off. This bag remains available until Monday, May 14, 2012 at 7:00 pm.

There, finally a bag I can bid on - I do not have 4625 walled sized bags, in fact I have none. It is beautiful. I want it.

$30. And I must remember to watch this space.

Love you people.
Janice, you're on my bucket list: one day I'll meet you, your dogs, and your bag collection.

I WISH I needed a bag right now, because this... this is beautiful! Janice, you better keep a close eye on the bids, because if I find someone who needs to be gifted with a bags4darfur beauty, then I will be bidding you up.

Jenni, I am watching.

Joyce, you have met my bag collection - they are made by you. I have just a few that are not purchased at Bags 4 Darfur. Of course, I speak in hyperbole and really only have about 14 bags.

My dogs you have not met. One of them rides in one of my bags, and you have seen photos.

Oh yes, and I want some unable ached cotton to apply to my knees.

Jenni, you could definitely gift this one to me ;)
Joyce - please make more this size! As soon as I dig enough change out of the couch cushions I am definitely going to bid!
