The Coupe

Hooray for Hippy Week. Brought to you by my daughter Arianna and her other mom; Rosa.
Coupe brought to you by: a quilt from the mcc store; a table runner from Steinbach thrift; a yellow table cloth from my friend Marie, a floral sheet from a Brandon garage sale; and an intimates bag beautifully hand embroidered with the word "hoisery".

Hosiery is actually forming an addional pocket underneath the flap. I have that pocket on my bag and I find it particularly useful. In your case, you may want to stow your brassierre or girdle in there partway through the workday if you are finding it to be overly constrictive.

I hope you people don't think I quilted these together. Nope. And I didn't embroider hosiery either. That's the thing about recycling- you just cheat your way through by reusing someone else's sweatshop labour. So thank you to random whomevers for your quilting and embroidering endeavors. We are forever grateful.

So, if you've got yourself one of those closed automobiles with only one seat, this may be da bag for you. These days they would call that a smart car, but back in the day we used to throw fossil fuels around recklessly, just because we could. So, we'd make the cars extra long, but then put in only one seat. Just to make a point.

My pan is open for handling until 6 pm, cst.

I wish I could remove my hosiery midway though a workday, but to this point I haven't had the courage...or maybe it's because I don't want to scare the children...at any rate, it's always good to have a bra-pocket. $30

This is fantastic I can see any number of bras, nursing pads etc. fitting in this pocket Ha HA the scarey thing is I actually carried these things around last baby, with another one to go this could be really handy. I love the combos of fabrics. You are amazing! $40

This is my favorite Joyce..mmmmmmm! The colors and textured surfaces makes my mouth water...
I've always truly believed I should have been born in the 60's for I'm a hippie at heart (growing up with Cory Hart and Chicago on the radio in the 80's, just didn't cut it for me). Small town girl secretly wishing she could have attended woodstock-who knew!?
Anyway, who ever wins the bid for this "groovy" bag is VERY VERY lucky indeed. Peace out man....all you need is LOVE baby!

thanks, all. Yes, Gwenda. They did start out as $25 minimum and some time ago I changed that in my sidebar. I didn't make it very clear, so people don't always notice. At any rate, the numbers rise above $45 on their own, so it hasn't been an isue.

Gloria, Svea, and Coffee; thanks for the kudos. It is a great bag, for which I can take little credit. I am merely scalping.

THank you gwenda for pointing out the minimum bid. Of course I think all joyces bags are worth far more than they go for every day, and I like to get bids in as often as I can, but i will take note of the bid minimum, which is far too low I think =) Joyce your bags are priceless!
